The world of zerocool is getting even cooler.

The premium trading card brand from Fanatics Collectibles inked multiyear partnership deals with Netflix, Legendary Entertainment, and filmmaker Kevin Smith. These deals mean that zerocool will soon offer some sweet trading cards and premium collectibles inspired by Netflix’s Stranger Things, Legendary’s Dune, and Smith’s return to the Quick Stop: Clerks III.

On the cusp of the new year, zerocool will release a premium Stranger Things trading card set for collectors, along with sets that will be available at mass retail. Word on the street is that these cards will appropriately pay tribute to the 1980s with design cues inspired by the baseball cards and entertainment trading cards of the Reagan era. Fanatics plans to include a “coveted collectible” in each box.

Next year, the Dune universe comes to the trading card category in time for the November 17, 2023 release of Dune: Part Two. The new offerings from zerocool will be the first Dune trading cards since 1984. According to Fanatics, this is just the beginning because zerocool is the official trading card partner for Dune through 2025.

In the more immediate future, fans can snag an exclusive zerocool trading card set that will only be available at dates on Kevin Smith’s Convenience Tour for Clerks III this fall. Additionally, zerocool plans a full consumer product offering for Clerks III that will be sold online tied with the film’s theatrical release via Fathom Events and Lionsgate on Sept. 13 and 15.
