Batman, wolverine, doctors, nurses — they’re all heroes, just with different powers.

Funko has always turned out-of-this-world heroes into collectible figures and now some of our homegrown heroes are getting the Pop! treatment. A new line of four Pop! figures honor the nurses and doctors caught on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.

Due out in October, the collectibles are decked out in full personal protective equipment (PPE). There are two female figures and two male figures — which kind of look like off-brand Scrubs collectibles, but we’ll allow it.

In an effort to help frontline workers even further, Funko also donated to GlobalGiving, a global crowdfunding platform that brings together nonprofits, donors, and companies that want to make a difference. Right now GlobalGiving is helping these heroes get much-needed PPE.

BoxLunch and HotTopic are donating all of their net proceeds from the figures to GlobalGiving’s Coronavirus Relief Fund, but fans can also find the collectibles on Amazon and Entertainment Earth for preorder.

When she's not playing with toys at work, she's playing with her baby girl at home.
