How did you spend your Friday the 13th? Just because it’s summertime doesn’t mean you can’t get a little spooky!
Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation debuted at the No. 1 spot at the box office after being appropriately released on the so-called unlucky day, and has earned more than $100 million worldwide in its opening weekend alone.
The film is fully-equipped with star power, featuring the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, David Spade, Steve Buscemi, Keegan-Michael Key, Molly Shannon, Fran Drescher, Mel Brooks, Chrissy Teigen, and Joe Jonas, to name a few. The Hotel Transylvania series has grossed more than $900 million worldwide to date.
Disney and Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp rang in at second place in the U.S., followed by Skyscraper, Incredibles 2, and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, respectively.
