Last week, Loungefly announced that it would be making an appearance at South by Southwest (SXSW). Now, we have a sneak peek at some of the new fandom goods that the accessories company will be showing off.
The Loungefly booth (No. 1235) will feature three new ‘80s and ‘90s nostalgic collections, specifically for Jurassic Park, Popples, and Strawberry Shortcake. All three of these collections feature an interactive element, tying into the spirit of innovation at SXSW.
The Jurassic Park collection features three new pieces: a glow-in-the-dark mini backpack with the Jurassic Park logo on the moon over a shadowy park, a matching zip-around wallet, and a crossbody bag fashioned to look like dinosaur skin with a red strap that says “Life finds a way.” The emphasis in this collection is the glow-in-the-dark component.
The Strawberry Shortcake collection features a light pink mini backpack with the ‘80s versions of Strawberry Shortcake and her friends and her red strawberry house on the front, a matching zip-around wallet, and a crossbody bag featuring Strawberry Shortcake’s house! These accessories will feature scented components.
Finally, the Popples mini backpack is a plush pack that looks just like a nostalgic Popples friend! The entire bag is covered in a blue, plush fur with orange accents.
