Marvel is entering a new realm — the virtual trading realm, that is — in a partnership with VeVe Digital Collectibles.

VeVe, an app available on both iOS and Android, offers digital collectibles featuring a variety of fandoms, such as Adventure Time, Jurassic Park, Star Trek, and more. Soon, like Thanos collecting his Infinity Stones, fans can start searching far and wide for Marvel NFTs to add to their collection within the app, including 3D statues and digital comic books. Users can set off on a mission worthy of the Avengers to hunt for rare (or even secret-rare) NFTs that they can display as an augmented reality (AR) collection.

“We’re seeing more fans than ever gravitate toward their screens,” says David Yu, CEO of Veve. “Fans want to watch and post about their favorite characters, talk about them on social media, and find ways to interact with these characters however they can.” Whether it’s with digital Avengers, guardians, or villains, VeVe is hoping to connect with Marvel fans in a way that the fandom hasn’t experienced before.

VeVe is constantly expanding its app to include more experiences, such as interacting with fan-favorite characters in AR. However, it’s mainly known for its digital collectibles, which fans can buy, sell, trade, upgrade, and customize using Gems, VeVe’s in-app currency. Users can purchase Gems with their credit cards and can also cash them out. Collectors can also curate their digital collections and show them off through photos, videos, and virtual showrooms using the app’s features.

Any excited fan who is ready to buy and trade these Marvelous NFTs should stay tuned over the next couple of weeks when VeVe plans to announce details about everything that’s coming to its app as part of this collaboration. The Marvel collectibles will be available to purchase in the coming months.
