Super7 released a slew of collectibles at their NYCC booth! | Source: Super7/The Pop Insider

Super7 is back at New York Comic Con (NYCC) with a collection of exclusives that are sure to hit collectors right in the nostalgia.

The brand didn’t hold back this year with a round-up of convention-exclusive collectibles that are sure to please fans of every fandom.

First up, there’s the Czarface (the American hip hop group) x Saucony (an athletic clothing store) limited-edition licensed sneakers. The character of Czarface, designed by graphic designer and street artist L’Armour Supreme, is featured in details throughout the shoes, with a premium leather upper that includes a Czarface monogram on the back side paneling. The shoes’ tongues come with a molded rubber Czarface mask and “Czarcony” runs across the shoe’s heel panel. For sneakers purchased at the Super7 NYCC booth, fans will receive a special Super7 action figure of Czarface — and he’s even wearing the shoes.

For horror fans, Super7 released two new They Live collectibles in its ReAction Figures line — Male Ghoul and Female Ghoul. The two figures come packaged in exclusive glow-in-the-dark packaging that, when the lights are turned out, reveals the word “consume.”

The exclusives lineup also include a special-edition Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Raphael figurine in green, translucent ooze; a Mothra figure and a Rodra figure that tie back to the brand’s Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) exclusives; a Star Trek Capt. Picard figure; and the brand’s first Bruce Lee collectible.

For it’s final exclusive, Super7 released a Wimbledon Green figure. Although some may not know the reference, the figure is based on a graphic novel from about 20 years ago and follows the story of the greatest comic book collector in the world. “Coming to New York Comic Con, we had to make a figure of Wimbledon Green,” explains Brian Flynn, founder and owner of Super7, exclusively to The Pop Insider. “So the greatest comic book collector in the world is actually here at New York Comic Con.”

The collectible brand has made a name for itself by releasing figures that draw fans back to their childhoods. And Super7 has no plans to stop with the nostalgia — “There’s always someone getting to that 25, 30, 35-year-old age that yearns for things they loved as a kid,” Flynn says. “That’s been happening for forever. The licenses will continue to get younger as those people age up, but I don’t think [nostalgia] is going anywhere.

If fans are attending NYCC this year, they can head over to Super7’s booth (Booth No. 1325) to check out all these products in person. For those not attending the convention, some of the figures will be available on super7.com.
