In the era of reboots, reunions, and revivals, seeing the Parks and Recreation cast together on screen again doesn’t seem too far-fetched (especially when Amy Poehler and Nick Offerman have both indicated their willingness to return).

Last night, Poehler discussed the subject once again, including the reason why a reunion can’t happen quite yet.

Poehler is personally ready to jump back into her role as Leslie Knope (“I have like six of Leslie’s blazers in my closet, so anytime,” she told Variety), but she says the project couldn’t happen without creator Michael Shur, who is busy doing a little show called The Good Place.

“We really can’t jump without Mike,” Poehler said. “So when Mike is good and ready, I’m sure we’ll show up like good soldiers.”

This is promising news for every April and Andy stan or Lil’ Sebastian lover, but a reunion may be a bit difficult to coordinate. Not only is The Good Place still going strong and already renewed for a fourth season, but also because many of the Parks and Rec stars are busy with A-list movies and shows.

But a girl can dream, right? More Pawnee, please!
