If you’re into gaming, get ready for your wallet to take a serious hit this holiday season. Sony just unleashed all the details on how much its much-anticipated Playstation 5 is gonna set you back.
On Nov. 12, gamers in the U.S. can get their hands on the powerful new console in one of two flavors: regular ($499.99) or digital ($399.99).
During the Playstation 5 (PS5) Showcase, Sony showed off fresh video from several previously announced titles and dropped the curtain on additional forthcoming titles from partners including Activision, Warner Bros. Games, Square Enix, and more.
New games include Hogwart’s Legacy, Final Fantasy XVI, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Security Breach, and a Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition. Additionally, the Showcase included a look at Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War and what Fortnite will look like on PS5 utilizing the Unreal 4 engine.
Between the PS5 and the Xbox Series X (and Series S), it’s gonna be a busy (and expensive) holiday season for pixel-based entertainment enthusiasts.
