Reebok’s latest addition to its Ghostbusters line is specifically inspired by the upcoming film Ghostbusters: Afterlife. The line has everything and more) that you would need for the chill of the fall, including the ECTO Boots, a shoe straight out of the new generation of Ghostbusters’ toolkit. The speed lacing system on the shoes makes them ideal for last-minute Ghostbusting.
The collection also features a special Ghostbusters edition of the Zig Kinetica, the Instapump Fury, the Answer IV, and the Zig Kinetica kids shoes. The Zig Kinetica embodies the soulless persona of Muncher, a new ghost making its debut in the upcoming film. The Muncher-inspired shoe glows in the dark and features a bitten tongue.
The terrifying teeth and slobbering mouth of the Ghostbusters terror dog are featured on the side of the Answer IV shoe. The shoe design also captures the details of their glowing red eyes in the red eyelets and the glow-in-the-dark effect on the shoe. Lastly, the kids’ Zig Kinetica design is inspired by the adorable mini-puffs from the new movie.
Select shoes in the collection, including the ECTO boot and the Answer IV, come in packaging featuring Ghostbusters franchise details and characters, including the pink slime from Ghostbusters II and the green ghost Slimer from the original film. Ghostbusters fans can also get more into the ghost-fighting spirit by purchasing one of two sweatshirts that round out the collection, designed to complement the Answer IV and the Zig Kinetica shoes.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife is set to premiere on Nov. 19, but you can purchase these petrifying kicks from the Reebok x Ghostbusters collection ahead of time to wear to the theatre. The collection drops on Oct. 13 for Reebok Unlocked members and for the general public on Oct. 15.
