The latest Star Wars film has finally crossed over into that exclusive billion-dollar club, according to Disney.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker passed the billion-dollar threshold less than a month after being released (Dec. 18 domestically and Dec. 20 internationally). The Skywalker Saga end has earned $483.3 million at the U.S. box office, and $519.7 million abroad.

The film is the fifth Star Wars film to pass this milestone and the seventh of Disney’s billion-dollar releases from last year alone. This force isn’t going away any time soon.

As a kid, Nicole either wanted to be a professional toy player-wither or a writer. Somehow, as social media editor for The Toy Insider, The Toy Book, and The Pop Insider, she’s found a career as both. She's grateful to work somewhere that she can fully embrace both her love of teddy bears and her admiration for the Oxford comma. When she's not playing with toys at work, she's playing with her baby girl at home.
