Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) is almost here, and Hasbro is on the way with an extraordinary portfolio of brands and collaborations, including Power Rangers, Magic: The Gathering, Star Wars, Transformers, Dungeons & Dragons, Marvel, NERF, and G.I. Joe. Attendees will have access to a variety of Hasbro panels, signings, product exclusives, and more activities during the four-day convention.
EXCLUSIVES
Hasbro will have two exclusive items for this year’s convention: a Star Wars The Black Series Boba Fett (in disguise) action figure and G.I. JOE Classified Series Dr. Mindbender. These items will not be available in person at the convention. Instead, fans who attend SDCC can stop by the Hasbro booth (No. 3213) to get a one-time use code, which they can scan to preorder these items on hasbropulse.com.
HASBRO SELFIE SERIES
To start, the Hasbro Selfie Series action figures are making their debut at the event. A select number of fans will be the first to create and purchase their own figures, which will ship in the fall. Attendees can visit the Hasbro Pulse Info Desk in booth No. 3213 to get a ticket for an assigned time slot. There are limited tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis.
STAR WARS
Fans from galaxies far, far away can participate in Star Wars product giveaways, cosplay contests, and trivia sessions at the Hasbro booth (No. 3213). They can also get a first look at upcoming Hasbro Star Wars prodcuts, including a B2EMO figure from the Black Series and The Vintage Collection The Rescue Set multipack, which comes with four figures and 10 entertainment-inspired accessories. At the Hasbro Star Wars Panel on July 22, fans can get an in-depth look at other new action figures and roleplay offerings.
MARVEL
The Hasbro booth is also celebrating the 60th anniversary of Spider-Man and the 20th anniversary of Marvel Legends with a virtual Q&A, some interactive Marvel activities, sguest signings, and Marvel trivia. Fans can also join the Marvel Legends team at the Hasbro Marvel panel on July 22, where they will reveal exciting news about upcoming, never-before-seen collectibles and answer attendee questions.
TRANSFORMERS
It’s been 15 years since the release of the first live-action Transformers film, and Hasbro is celebrating by engaging fans in giveaways, photo opportunities, and trivia sessions. The team will have Legacy and Transformers: EarthSpark merch on display, unbox the Transformers: HasLab Victory Saber live, and reveal the next Transformers Generations Shattered Glass Hasbro Pulse exclusive character. Fans can meet the next generation of Transformers heroes and get a first look at the upcoming toy line at the product panel on July 21.
DUNGEONS & DRAGONS
Hasbro is bringing the first-ever Dungeons & Dragons toy line to SDCC, which is inspired by the film Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. Fans can get a sneak peek of the movie before it premieres in theaters in March 2023 at The Tavern, an immersive experience complete with giveaways and unique photo opportunities. They can also join eOne and Paramount Pictures on July 21 for the Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves panel.
NERF
Murph, the NERF brand’s first-ever official mascot, is making their live debut at the Hasbro booth to meet fans for the first time. Attendees will also have the opportunity to see a highly anticipated new product at the booth.
G.I. JOE
G.I. Joe is also making an appearance at Comic-Con. Fans will be the first to experience the newest Hasbro Pulse HasLab, the G.I. Joe Classified Series H.I.S.S. Tank. The boost will also offer Classified Series artwork signed by John Giang and poster giveaways. John and Emily from the Classified Series development team will give attendees a sneak peek at the future of the line at the G.I. Joe panel on July 23.
POWER RANGERS
Fan-favorite members of Power Rangers Dino Fury are stopping by the Hasbro booth, too. Fans can meet the mighty rangers, get a signing, and take home some powerful souvenirs. At the Power Rangers panel on July 21, attendees can tune in for a discussion on the history of the series and what is next to come.
MAGIC: THE GATHERING
There’s plenty of magic to be found at the Hasbro booth, where fans can stop in for a signing with Mark Rosewater, the head designer for Magic: The Gathering. They can also attend the branded panel for updates on new cards, mechanics, and more from the upcoming Unfinity release.
SDCC attendees can view the schedule at Hasbro’s booth each day for updates and information, as well as checking @hasbro on Twitter to stay up-to-date on the latest information.
