Wines That Rock is back at it with it’s second Star Trek Wines release — two new flavors just in time for Star Trek Day next week and your at-home end-of-summer festivities.
While it’s hard to beat last year’s Chateau Picard wine (don’t worry, that one is still available, too!), these new wines just might.
The first new wine is a 2018 Klingon Bloodwine Cabernet Sauvignon, a tribute to the Klingon Bloodwine that fans of The Original Star Trek Series and Star Trek: The Next Generation will recognize. It is a salute to Klingon culture, deeply rooted in the three pillars of honor, duty, and tradition.
In creating this wine, ViacomCBS Consumer Products and Wines That Rock partnered with leaders of the Klingon Assault Group and the Klingon Language Institute for their expertise on all things Klingon, so you know this wine is the real deal. Immense thought and detail went into every aspect of this bottle, from the design and use of language to the wine itself. There are even four separate, unique corks in the Bloodwine bottles that each feature a different Klingon proverb.
The second new release is a United Federation of Planets Special Reserve Sauvignon Blanc. Each limited-edition bottle is individually numbered, and the wine is intended to be a companion to last year’s United Federation of Planets Old Vine Zinfandel. The bottle’s round shape and unique label cut are inspired by the StarFleet Delta, paying homage to the history and mission of The Federation.
Both of these wines — along with the previously released Chateau Picard Cru Bourgeois and Special Reserve United Federation of Planets Old Vine Zinfandel — are available to order now exclusively at startrekwines.com.
The wines are available to purchase individually, as a four-pack with all of the flavors, or in various two-pack combinations. All orders will begin shipping on Sept. 17 — appropriately, as that is the Klingon Day of Honor!
