Squishmallows are taking over the galaxy and we’re not about to get in the way.
Kellytoy — a subsidiary of Jazwares — recently announced its plans to add Star Wars Squishmallows to its squad of huggable plush with an exclusive reveal of the Child Squishmallow on our sister site the Toy Book. Now, Baby Yoda’s cute-as-heck BFFs are joining him in Squishmallow form.
In addition to the Child, families can take home their own huggable versions of Star Wars faves BB-8, R2-D2, and Chewbacca. The new Squishmallows will be available in 5-inch and 10-inch versions exclusively at Walgreens starting on Oct. 1.
Kellytoy’s new Disney license can mean big things for the Squishmallows fam, which already has more than 500 characters. A few well-known faces have been popping up recently, including a Finding Nemo 10-inch Squishmallow in Walgreens stores now. We’re wishing on a star that more will find their way to us quickly. For now, the Force is strong with these ones.
