Everybody give it up for the Xenomorphs in the house!
Super7 is celebrating Alien Day, the annual occasion in which fans of Ridley Scott’s 1979 film and subsequent science fiction franchise pay tribute. First launched in 2016 by 20th Century Fox, April 26 was chosen in reference to LV-426, a moon that plays a key role in Alien lore. For the 40th anniversary of Alien, Super7 is offering four exclusive items that are available now.
Two limited-edition, 3.75-inch ReAction Figures were inspired by the original 1979 Alien concept poster art by Bill Gold — not used for the film’s release. The classic Xenomorph is cast in clear, glitter space blue and is packing on a matching card back. Kane, a doomed member of the Nostromo crew, is presented in “horrifying” red upon a matching card back.
Additionally, the company is offering old-school felt pennants in two designs to commemorate the Xenomorph and LV-426.
