?Infinity War Spoilers ahead!?

After the unpredictable end of Avengers: Infinity War (spoilers ahead, you’ve been warned!) that finally brought all of our favorite Marvel characters together, in the end, they weren’t strong enough to defeat Thanos who, turns out, could wipe out the entire galaxy with the snap of a finger.

Ever since the film’s release, fans have been debating and theorizing how the fallen heroes could return for Avengers 4 and be revived. Some theorists believe the Quantum Realm from Ant-Man and the Wasp could play into the narrative, and it seems Tom Holland (aka Spider-Man) may have just accidentally confirmed it.

In a recent interview with Access to promote Infinity War, the actor spoke about the juxtaposition between his character Peter Parker and Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange.

“He [Cumberbatch] has the most difficult lines though,” Holland said. “He has to talk about so much Quantum Realm stuff. I just have to talk about, ‘Yeah, man, that’s awesome!’ So mine is easy, but his is so difficult!”

At the time of the April 2018 interview, Holland’s comments seemed like a throwaway remark, however, based on what we’ve now seen from the recently released Ant-Man and the Wasp and the implications of the Quantum Realm, it seems to point to a pretty big spoiler about what’s to come in the upcoming Avengers movie.

While we saw many of our favorite characters fade to dust at the end of Infinity War, it’s logical to assume that the characters will return one way or another, given that movies such as Spider-Man: Far From Home and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 are some of the new films part of Marvel’s Phase Four.

Since Doctor Strange found the single path to victory in the film, as Emergency Awesome explained, perhaps he knew the Quantum Realm would come into play the entire time. And then, there’s everything we learned from the post-credits scene in Ant-Man and the Wasp where Ant-Man himself was stranded in the Quantum Realm. Now, all theories are speculation at this point, but Tom Holland did raise an interesting point about more possibilities for the final Avengers film.
