Get ready to begin your quest! This weekend (Sept. 18-20) is D&D Live, a virtual celebration of all things Dungeons and Dragons.
While the event was announced late last month, along with Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything, Wizards of the Coast just revealed some exciting new info about what fans can expect at the virtual event, and a lot of it revolves around Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden.
Originally announced at D&D Live in June, this new, bone-chilling tale officially dropped yesterday. Fans can order it now, then get a first look at playthrough this weekend! There is also an Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden Dice and Miscellany set, available now for preorder.
There is so much more to explore at D&D Celebration, including preview content from Tasha’s Cauldron of Everything and panels. The main site for the event is already live, and it features an interactive map of Icewind Dale.
The schedule of events is also available now, so you can start making your streaming plan for this weekend. Players can also sign up ahead of time to play a D&D Adventurers League game, with all proceeds from tickets supporting Extra Life, benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
