On top of the new figures proudly displayed in its New York Comic Con show floor cases, Diamond Select Toys (DST) waited until its Sunday afternoon panel to unveil some of its upcoming offerings, teasing collectibles across a variety of fandoms. Continue scrolling to see exactly what the company has planned, from Minimates and busts to action figures and more!
DST is adding a new gallery diorama to its new All Elite Wrestling offerings, which are available for preorder now. This 10-inch, PVC Bryan Danielson diorama will join a CM Punk diorama and the first series of Minimates based on the property, featuring Punk, Dr. Britt Baker, Chris Jericho, and Kenny Omega. There is already a second series of Minimates in the works.
The resurgence in popularity of Dungeons & Dragons has proved a boon for DST. To round out its many game-based offerings, the company also announced a second series of Minimates focused on villains, including Venger (left) and Warduke (right)
Mini busts are true collector’s items, and they’re something DST continues to be known for after being in business for 23 years. Shown as prototypes above, the DST website has both Storm (left) and Phoenix (right) busts from X-Men: The Animated Series available for preorder.
One major announcement was the debut of a Blade action figure, a first for the company. With intricate details, this articulated collectible is expected to hit store shelves and the web next summer.
Minimates continue to be a huge push for DST, with the 2-inch figures available for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Power Rangers, Transformers, and more. During the panel, DST revealed that the 84th wave of Marvel Minimates will feature Daredevil — and his good and bad crew. This series will join the rest of the Marvel Minimates universe next year.
