Skybound Entertainment, the studio behind Invincible, The Walking Dead, Impact Winter, and more, is going big for New York Comic Con (NYCC) this year with panels and offsite events for fans to check out.
The biggest part of their show is “Probably the Best Invincible Panel in the History of Invincible Panels,” which will take place on Friday, Oct. 10, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Empire Stage. During this panel, Emmy Award winner Steven Yeun, Gillian Jacobs, co-creator Robert Kirkman, and other members of the Invincible cast will have an epic conversation filled with season four teases, behind-the-scenes insights, and other surprises.
Kirkman will also be at the Transformers & G.I. Joe: A New Era for the Energon Universe panel, which is happening from 1:15-2:15 p.m. in Room 406.1. The panel will also feature Joshua Williamson, Tom Reilly, Jorge Corona, Conor Hughes, and more. During the panel, this group will dive into the future for Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Void Rivals, and fans don’t want to miss it.
If you don’t have a ticket to the show, you don’t have to miss out on the fun. You can check out the Invincible VS Playable Barcade Takeover, happening on Friday, Oct. 10 starting at 3 p.m. at OS NYC, located at 50 Bowery. During this event, players can try the upcoming Invincible VS 3v3 tag fighting game for the first time ever. The event will also feature the debut of a new character in the game!
You can also head to Midtown Comics Times Square on Friday night from 7-9 p.m. for the third annual Energon Universe Group signing to get your comics signed by Joshua Williamson, Tom Reilly, Jorge Corona, Andrea Milana, Andrei Bressan, Conor Hughes, and more.
Whether you’re headed to the city hoping to see Steven Yeun IRL or debuting your obscenely intricate Optimus Prime cosplay, Skybound Entertainment has an event for you during NYCC.
