NECA has two exclusives for this year’s New York Comic Con (NYCC), and they’re both packed with mashup goodness.
The first is a pack of Batman/Aliens 7-inch Scale Action figures (pictured above), and it’s a Batman and “Joker” two-pack. Inspired by the 1997 Batman/Aliens comic book miniseries from DC Comics and Dark Horse Comics, Batman is in his regular form, but he is facing a new Alien produced with the DNA of his nemesis, the Joker. Both figures have more than 30 points of articulation and come in window-box packaging with an embossed opening flap.
The second two-figure pack is also in 7-inch scale. The Green Lantern and Sinestro Corps Predator Two-Pack is inspired by a 2008 Green Lantern story arc, a mashup in which the Yautja join the Sinestro Corps to attack the Earth. The set includes figures based on Green Lantern and the Predator from the comic books. The Green Lantern features interchangeable head sculpts and comes with a lamp, attachable burst effects, and an interchangeable hand. The Predator features two heads, a detachable backpack, interchangeable hands, and accessories.
Both exclusives cost $60, and a small quantity of each will be available for preorder from the NECA Store on Sept. 5 and 6, at 1 p.m. ET each day. Preorders are limited to two of each item per household.
After the presale, the only way to get your hands on these mashups will be at the NECA booth (No. 110) during NYCC.
