It’s pretty appropriate that Marvel would cap its presence at New York Comic Con (NYCC) this year by following its “Women of Marvel” panel with a reveal from The Marvels.
To get audiences hyped for the November 10 theatrical debut of the next installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), Marvel Studios shared six new character posters for The Marvels featuring Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, Captain Monica Rambeau, Nick Fury, Goose (return of the Flerkin!), and Prince Yan.

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels."

The new posters come just days following the release of four new posters designed to promote different viewing formats, including ScreenX, Real D 3D, IMAX, and Dolby Cinema.

Heading back to the source material — comics — today’s panel at NYCC brought news that a new, Women of Marvel anthology series will hit comic shops beginning in February.
