Thrilljoy, a new company dedicated to premium, extremely limited collectibles, will debut at New York Comic Con (NYCC). The company will bring its wares to booth No. 1023.

The company will debut with three product lines at NYCC: PIX!, Mega Pix 12″, and Thrilljoy Threads. PIX! immortalizes crucial moments in pop culture history, focusing on beloved licensed characters and the pivotal scene the character starred in. PIX! figures ($50) come in protective casing and packaging to protect the value and integrity of the collectibles. Mega Pix 12” ($125) are encased in luxurious packaging; the collectibles are larger versions of PIX! characters and include magnetic accessories. Collectors can expect to purchase the brand’s mascot, Bloo. The brand’s third line, Thrilljoy Threads (starting at $40), highlights streetwear trends. The hyper-limited edition premium line is capped at 200-400 pieces. Items in the collection are also sold in innovative, protective packaging.

PIX! figures include Mizu from Blue Eye Samurai, Skeletor from Masters of the Universe, Young-hee and the piggy bank from Squid Game, and Ava Silva from Warrior Nun.

Thrilljoy is founded by two Funko alums, former CEO Brian Mariotti and former SVP of Licensing and Emerging Brands, Dolly Ahluwalia. Eric Peng Cheng, Owner of Undefeated, and MD Young, owner of MINDstyle International, are also founders.

The founders have set their company apart by instituting a Fan Advisory Board composed of content creators, innovators, and collectors from a wide array of fandoms. The board has an equity stake in the company.

“Our motivation to launch Thrilljoy arose from a profound passion for fandom and a commitment to enhancing the collector experience,” Mariotti stated. “We recognize a unique opportunity to build a brand that not only honors diverse interests but also cultivates a vibrant community. With an unwavering focus on innovation, exceptional quality, and genuine connections, Thrilljoy is set to transform the very essence of what it means to be a collector.”

“When we say we’re creating products for the fans, we mean it — this is not an empty promise. Our advisory board allows us to tap into pop culture like never before. We’re engaging directly with the people who matter most: the fans,” said Mariotti.

The founders will host a panel at NYCC on Thursday, Oct. 17. Karissa Marston, Thrilljoy’s Director of Marketing, will moderate. The panel will examine trends in the collectibles space and discuss the company’s plan to disrupt the industry. Members of the Fan Advisory Board will also speak. The company plans to give away giveaways and exclusives at the panel.
