The first day of New York Comic-Con is officially over! With so many new comics, TV shows, and movies to see, what better way to delve into the convention than with a bit of nostalgia?
Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello bring turtle power to all convention fans and avid gamers with three new video game titles. Paramount Game Studios (Booth No. 1723) partners with Epic Games, Outright Games, and Super Evil Megacorp to celebrate 40 years of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) with games for console, PC, and more.Â
Calling all Fortnite gamers! Players can now build their very own TMNT islands thanks to Epic Games’ latest collaboration, Fortnite x Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. By using Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) and Fortnite Creative, players can build islands by accessing templates, weapons, devices, and more. Whether you prefer surfing through the sewers or delivering pizzas to the neighborhood, you have limitless options for creating a turtley awesome build.
For those new to island building, Fortnite will feature two TMNT templates via UEFN. Fans can truly delve into the gaming world with the Arcade Template, which features the streets and sewers of the city in an arcade-like style. The City Starter Template features a slice of New York City life, featuring customizable lighting, post-processing, and skybox. Along with island creation, fans can also spawn iconic TMNT NPCs to populate their islands.
Fans can embark on their island-building adventures starting Nov. 13 via the Creator Portal.
Super Evil Megacorp is the place to be if you’re looking to take your turtle action on the go. In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, the Turtles go on a mission to save Master Splinter after he’s been abducted. This roguelike action game features fast-flowing combat, online and local co-op capabilities, and deep replayability.
Unlike many of the previous TMNT game titles, Super Evil Megacorp introduces new functionality so that you can set the game to your liking. In the Options Menu, gamers can rebind keymappings, change the resolution, select a graphics or display device, and more.Â
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate is now available for the Nintendo Switch and is playable via the Apple Arcade. PC gamers can join the half-shelled brothers via Steam and the Epic Games Stores starting Nov. 6.
Don’t worry, console players, Paramount didn’t forget about you! Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Unleashed from Outright Games is a 3D platformer that has everyone’s favorite Ninja Turtles facing off against 10 new waves of mutants. But be careful: Each mutant has five varying forms of mutation that crank up the difficulties.
This video game follows the aftermath of the box office hit Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem. Fans will hear some familiar voices during gameplay as the film’s actors have revised their roles for the game. As a bonus, all the new mutant enemies were designed by the film’s lead character designer Woodrow White. These aren’t the only familiarities as players can complete Master Splinter’s Dojo challenges, assist with April’s broadcasts, and help Bebop and Rocksteady with life in New York City.
Whether you play solo or in two-player co-op mode, everyone can embrace the awesomeness of these crime-fighting, pizza-loving brothers. Gamers can add Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants Released to their gaming collection today, available on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Steam.
