This summer, Square Enix (SE) will release Oninaki, a new role-playing video game exploring a realm where a group, called the Watchers, serves as the keepers of both the Living World and the Beyond.
SE released an announcement trailer for the game back in February and added a new character trailer today. The character trailer gives players a better look at Kagachi, a young Watcher and the protagonist, and some of the characters he meets along his journey, including Linne, a mysterious young girl with no memory of her past; Kushi, another Watcher and a trusted leader; Mayura, a Watcher with a kind heart; and the Night Devil, a swordsman from a forgotten time who is hunting Linne.

The game still doesn’t have an exact release date or a rating, but it will be available on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Steam. Fans can visit this site to learn more about the game and its characters.
