For those uninitiated, it’s the one day that celebrates the initial 1996 release of Pokémon Red and Green in Japan, and it’s when all the big game announcements for the series drop in a special Pokémon Presents. Thanks to Best Buy, fans can get in the celebratory mood ahead of the special day, as stores across the U.S. are hosting the Pokémon Play Lab on Feb. 22. The event hosts competitive play sessions for both the core game series and the Trading Card Game (TCG), and if you stop by while supplies last, you can even find special giveaways at each location.
