Pokémon GO is giving you more chances to be one of the great Pokémon masters with a planned update to the AR app’s battling feature.

In an announcement from the Pokémon GO team, plans for an extension to their Trainer Battles are slated for an early 2020 update. The new feature, called GO Battle League, will grant Trainers the chance to “battle opponents from around the globe through an online matching system.”

The developers hope to make their battling features more competitive and accessible to their more than 147 million active Trainers.

Will you be the very best? (Not if my Arcanine has anything to say about it). We’ll find out come 2020.
