New York City, I choose you!

This summer, everyone’s favorite Pokémon-catching mobile game is taking the Big Apple by storm with Pokémon Go Fest NYC. From Friday, Aug. 18 to Sunday, Aug. 20, thousands of trainers from around the country are coming to the city that never sleeps to catch ‘em all. Fans can expect exclusive gameplay and special bonuses as The Pokémon Company and Niantic prepare two half-day experiences for Pokémon Go players.

On each day, the Morning Park Experience will invite trainers to spend the first part of their day catching Pokémon in Randall’s Island Park between Manhattan and Queens, while the Afternoon Park Experience offers ticket holders the chance to hunt for the best Pokémon while adventuring across all five boroughs.

Want to take your Pokémon hunt global? The Pokémon Company is also hosting two separate, in-person events in Japan and London from Aug. 5 through Aug 6. Not able to travel but still want to join in on the festivities? There will also be a virtual event from Aug 26-27, during which trainers from around the globe can enjoy special in-game content while staying in their own neck of the woods.
