Pokémon fans can expect some brand new content next year — but it won’t focus on Ash. Instead, the seven-part anime series, called Pokémon: Twilight Wings, will revolve around the residents of the Galar region — where Pokémon training is ingrained in the culture.
Each five-minute episode will show the realities they face, their dreams, and the challenges that they need to overcome. A variety of Pokémon who are unique to the region will make their debut. Studio Colorido — known for its dynamic, warm work — will provide the animation.
Check out the series on Pokémon’s official YouTube channel in January.
