Your favorite atomic-breathing, building-toppling kaiju is back again, this time appearing on a collection from Santa Cruz Skateboards!
Santa Cruz is known for its decks and skate apparel, with everything you need to head straight to the nearest skatepark. Now, that’ll include chances to represent your favorite fandom, as the skate company teams up with Toho International for a full collection of Godzilla goods.
The new limited-edition Godzilla line from Santa Cruz will include eight new skateboard deck designs, pulling from favorite artists to reimagine Godzilla’s looks throughout his long history of making mayhem. The artists were tasked with reinventing classic graphics from Corey O’Brien, Tom Knox, Rob Roskopp, and Natas Kaupas, all inspired by the original art by Jim Phillips. A monster-size deck in the collection will be the largest Santa Cruz has offered so far, coming in at 11 by 32 inches.
The collection has even more than skateboard decks. For those hoping to complete their closet, Santa Cruz will have Godzilla-themed T-shirts, hats, hoodies, and even a sticker pack featuring the deck artwork.
Just in time to celebrate the iconic movie monster’s 70th anniversary, the new Godzilla line from Santa Cruz will launch this November. Whether your favorite is Shin Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, or another iteration of the King, this collection will have the perfect piece for you!
