Mystery Inc. is facing a whole new foe: family game night.
Betrayal at Mystery Mansion is the newest family-friendly board game in the Betrayal series from the game makers at Wizards of the Coast. The new addition brings the best mystery team around to help solve the case as players take the role of Shaggy, Velma, Daphne, Fred, or Scoob himself to discover clues and hunt down haunts.
The game features brand new tiles, tokens, cards, and 25 ghosts based on the best Scooby-Doo moments. After players discover enough clues surrounding the game’s mysterious monster, one player takes the form of the baddie in question and switches sides to stop those meddling kids from usurping the sinister plan.
Betrayal at Mystery Mansion maintains the mystery and replayability known to the original series while adding easy-to-follow rules for younger audiences and the classic Mystery Inc. characters for family-wide fun.
The new game will release on May 15, the same day the new Scoob! movie hits theaters.
