Get ready to geek out and witness the world’s first dual-form, bipedal walking robot at this year’s Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC).

Robosen Robotics and Hasbro have joined forces to introduce just that, and it’s called Transformers Grimlock Auto-Converting Robot, the Flagship Collector’s Edition.

Fans can head over to the Hasbro booth (No. 3213) at SDCC to get an up-close and personal look at the Dinobot.

Eager fans can get their very own collector’s edition at a special preorder price of $1,499 now until Sept. 30, with scheduled shipping to take place late fall. The retail price of Grimlock is $1,699.

Prepare for a truly interactive experience as Grimlock interacts with you using over 150 original Generation 1 Transformer audio lines, voiced by Gregg Berger, the original voice of Grimlock. These sound bites synchronize with the robot’s actions, bringing the Transformers world to life. With 42 voice commands, you can hands-free control Grimlock, commanding it to convert, walk, and perform stunts.

Powered by advanced SOC chip technology and a comprehensive robot operating system, this robot represents the pinnacle of auto-conversion. It defies the laws of robotics with its dual-form capability, utilizing 34 high-precision servos and 85 microchips.

Don’t forget balance — thanks to the inclusion of six-axis IMU sensors, constant balance monitoring is ensured, providing stability as Grimlock gets on the move.

Through the app, you can connect to bluetooth to remotely control Grimlock’s auto-conversion, movements, and actions from your mobile device. You can engage in the “MiniTheater” gesture to enjoy captivating solo performances in SoloPlat mode or coordinate displays in MultiPlay mode.

With four programming modes, the playability of Grimlock reaches new heights. Replicate iconic movie scenes using block-based programming or adjust Grimlocks’s joints. Voice programming allows you to create custom commands. For the ultimate programming experience, computer-based 3D programming software helps you unlock Grimlock’s full potential.

Additionally, Grimlock comes with accessories such as the Crown, Galazial Rocket Launcher, and Energon Sword.

Once you get your hands on Grimlock, you’ll receive a collector’s coin with a unique serial number. So don’t wait to witness this robot stomp into your life!
