Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC) is blasting off, thanks in no small part to LEGO and its massive space station booth!

The booth, given the name Space Station 8R1CK5, gives visitors the chance to view never-before-seen LEGO sets, build their own themed creations, and acquire con-exclusives! Among the sets on display are Sonic the Hedgehog, Minecraft, and Star Wars products. Meanwhile, fans who participate in the LEGO rocket-building activation can walk away with an exclusive embroidered patch.

“Space is an endless playground for imagination and storytelling; we are hoping to capture that playground spirit right here at Space Station 8R1CK5,” says Beth McKenna, head of U.S. marketing at The LEGO Group.

Con attendees can visit Space Station 8R1CK5 at Booth No. 2829, or, if your space shuttle doesn’t go quite as far as California, you can peruse the sets on display at the booth on the LEGO SDCC website.
