Avengers A-Day

With the upcoming release of Marvel’s Avengers, it’s a big year for Square Enix at Comic-Con International: San Diego (SDCC). Today, the company released a full lineup of its panels, giveaways, autograph sessions, and more. Get ready, gamers, theres a LOT to look forward to.

Throughout the show, the Square Enix booth (No. 3829) will feature photo ops, including costumes from Marvel’s Avengers brought to life, Cloud’s Hardy Daytona from Final Fantasy VII Remake, and a giant touch screen to play Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. 

There will be two giveaways at the booth (while supplies last): a two-sided Final Fantasy VII Remake poster featuring Cloud and Sephiroth and a Japanese-style hand fan featuring Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. Fans can also check out merchandise prototypes from upcoming game releases and purchase a variety of official character products.

Panels

THURSDAY, JULY 18

Marvel Games Panel, 1:30 p.m., Hall H

During the Marvel Games panel, there will be a presentation from Marvel’s Avengers, including the performance cast. The presentation will provide new information about the game, as well as the first public gameplay.

SATURDAY, JULY 20

Life is Strange Panel, 12:30 p.m., Room 5AB

Fans can join Co-Creative Director Raoul Barbet and Jean-Luc Cano, lead writer of Life is Strange and Life is Strange 2, for an in-depth look at the backstory of the sequel, along with an exclusive glimpse of the next chapter.


Autograph Sessions

THURSDAY, JULY 18

Marvel’s Avengers Performance Cast, 5 p.m., booth No. 2339

During this autograph session, Nolan North (Iron Man), Troy Baker (Bruce Banner), Laura Bailey (Black Widow), Jeff Schine (Captain America), and Travis Willingham (Thor), as well as Shaun Escayg (creative director, Crystal Dynamics), and Bill Rosemann (VP & creative director, Marvel Games) will sign Marvel’s Avengers limited-edition lithographs.
