Fans of My Hero Academia have been waiting (and waiting) for more content, and today their dreams came true. OK, well, kind of.
Funimation dropped an official trailer for season four of the hit show, which will premiere on Saturday, July 6 at Anime Expo 2019 in Los Angeles, with more episodes coming later in the year, according to Newsweek. The anime series, for the uninitiated, is about a group of students attending a hero academy. Produced by Bones, My Hero Academia is based on the New York Times best-selling superhero manga of the same name that first appeared in Shonen Jump in 2014. To date, there are 22 volumes in the manga series, with more than 20 million copies estimated to be in print around the world, plus three TV seasons and an upcoming feature film.
