Mark off May 4 in your calendar, you’re going to be very busy this year. In honor of this year’s Star Wars May the 4th celebrations, Disney partnered with AMC to re-release all nine Star Wars Skywalker Saga films in theaters.
According to amctheatres.com, this screening will be 24 hours long and features The Phantom Menace, Attack on the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and Rise of Skywalker in chronological order. This Herculean feat of cinema may take up all of your time on May the 4th, but it is so worth it to see all of your favorite Star Wars characters on the big screen. If you get tickets to the screening, you will also get a special limited-edition poster.
If a 24-hour movie marathon is too much of a commitment for you, you can check out The Phantom Menace in theaters May 3-5 in celebration of the movie’s 25th anniversary! Movie-goers will also get an exclusive look at The Acolyte, the upcoming Disney+ series that takes place more than 100 years before The Phantom Menace.
Tickets for both experiences go on sale today, March 22, at 12 p.m. ET. Start packing your blankets and Star Wars plushies for your day-long experience!
