Even if you couldn’t make it to Star Wars Celebration Europe, you probably already know that the event was packed with announcements, updates, and trailers for upcoming titles in the Star Wars universe. But the announcements didn’t stop with on-screen content. Many merch makers, including Hasbro and Gentle Giant, debuted a variety of new Lucasfilm merch during the fan event.
Hasbro announced more than 30 new action figures and collectibles this weekend, featuring characters The Bad Batch, The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Indiana Jones, and more! The collectibles will have three different drops. The first is tomorrow, April 11, followed by more Star Wars items on May 4. The Indiana Jones collectibles will be available later this year when Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny hits theaters.
Some highlights from Hasbro’s reveals this weekend include a line of Black Series figures from The Bad Batch including Wrecker, Hunter, Echo, Tech, Omega, and a clone commando; Black Series and Vintage Collection figures for the 40th anniversary of Return of the Jedi, including members of Jabba’s court, Moff Jerjerrod, Nien Nunb, R2-D2, Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and more; and Return of the Jedi-themed Monopoly!
The new items also include an interactive Chopper toy, inspired by the droid’s upcoming appearance in Ahsoka, which makes more than 40 noises and interacts with touch and sound. There is also a new Vintage Collection version of Din Djarin, Grogu, and their N-1 Starfighter, and an electronic Clone Trooper helmet that is the perfect addition to any cosplay.
Hasbro also debuted a GameStop-exclusive Darth Maul figure, based on the character’s appearance in Battlefront II, which will be available to preorder starting tomorrow, April 11. There is also a shopDisney-exclusive Dok-Ondar figure that will be available for preorder on May 4.
The next installment of the Indiana Jones Adventure Series features figures inspired by characters from across the franchise, including Helena Shaw, Short Round, and Indiana Jones from Dial of Destiny, Raiders of the Lost Ark, and Temple of Doom.
Gentle Giant also joined in on the Star Wars excitement, releasing two exclusives this weekend. The Jaxxon Premier Collection 1:7-scale statue is based on the green-furred Lepi character from Star Wars comics. The figure is around 10 inches tall and has twin blasters. The statue is limited to 1,500 pieces.
The Mandalorian Trapper Wolf 1:6-scale mini-bust is around 6 inches tall and features the Rebellion fighter turned New Republic X-wing pilot! This bust will be limited to just 750 pieces. The two exclusive collectibles are already available to Gentle Giant Premier Guild Members but will become available to everyone starting today, April 10, at noon.
