Heroes & Villains Star Wars

This Saturday is May 4, and that means that in addition to being Free Comic Book Day — always the first Saturday in May — it’s also Star Wars Day!

The annual holiday that celebrates Star Wars simply because “May the 4th Be With You!” sounds like May the Force Be With You will once again be commemorated with exclusive products and some out-of-this-world deals from Lucasfilm licensing partners and retailers. This year, the list is unusually extensive, so we’re featuring some highlights to help you fuel your fandom and save a few credits at the same time! Jabba lied when he said that “there will be no bargain,” but beware — many of these deals are available only on May 4, 2019, or while supplies last!

Star Wars Adventures

STAR WARS ADVENTURES: DROID HUNTERS (IDW)

Since the stars have aligned to make Free Comic Book Day coincide with Star Wars Day, it’s practically mandatory that a Star Wars comic be in the mix! In this special issue of Star Wars Adventures, Han and Chewie race against pirates in a search for one of three identical droids that contain the location of a legendary treasure. But what our favorite smugglers don’t know is the other two droids are booby trapped!
