Prop Store is holding a *massive* entertainment memorabilia auction later this month on Aug. 26-27. Among the items hitting the auction block are some big ticket Star Wars props.
And we mean BIG: Fans can bid on the 1977 touring Darth Vader costume (which was worn for promotional events), an original Stormtrooper helmet from Star Wars: A New Hope, and Count Dooku’s dueling lightsaber from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones.
These props come with a price tag to match their level of rarity — the least expensive estimate listed is $8,000, but most are $20,000 or more. So, unless you’re flush with Beskar from a recent bounty hunt, this auction may be more of a wistful window-shopping experience.
However, those who are interested in placing a bid can register now at here. The auction will be live and held in Los Angeles, but you can bid via phone, online, or absentee.
There will also be a special livestream showcase this Thursday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. PT, which will give fans a closer look at the Star Wars props that are up for auction. The livestream will be available on the Prop Store Facebook and Instagram pages, and do not require registration.
