Star Wars has given us some of the most iconic female characters of all time, from Ahsoka Tano to Leia Organa. This Women’s History Month, Disney designed a new line of merch featuring apparel, accessories, and more to show off all of the bravest women the galaxy has to offer.
Adults and kids alike can both sport Women of the Galaxy Spirit Jerseys featuring Rey Skywalker, Padme Amidala, Leia Organa, Ahsoka Tano, Rose Tico, and Hera Syndulla in a fun illustrated style. Two tops in the collection feature the phrase “The story of how, together, we resist. How, united, we rebel”: one with Leia riding a tauntaun and one with Ahsoka wielding one of her lightsabers. There is also a matching set of red comfy clothes that feature the silhouettes of the characters that is perfect for a romp through Galaxy’s Edge.
The real stars of this collection are the accessories. Fans with Disney plans in their future can don the Princess Leia ear headband, which features beads shaped like her iconic hairdo, and the Women of the Galaxy MagicBand+, which features the characters in the same illustration style as the Spirit Jerseys. Loungefly also added to the collection with a crossbody bag that features the same design as the Spirit Jersey, as well as and a travel bag. The travel bag is styled like a suitcase and features patches with the characters and one that says “The force is with us.”
To round off the collection, Disney also has a white wristlet purse, a mug, and a Princess Leia vinyl figure by Nidhi Chanani based on her look in Star Wars: A New Hope.
No matter which Star Wars era is your favorite, the women of the franchise are undeniably iconic, inspirational, and kickass.
