GenCon 2019 attendees will be the first players to take on the roles of Sora, Kairi, and Riku and embark on new adventures with USAopoly’s (the OP) latest version of Talisman.
They’ll be able to test out the Talisman: Kingdom Hearts Edition during the show from Aug. 1-4 at booth No. 137. However, fans who miss the con will have to wait until September to pick up the game from local retailers across North America and Europe.
The two- to six-player Kingdom Hearts-themed board game brings fans of the Disney and Square Enix video game to the Destiny Islands to fight off the Heartless. They’ll explore three rings — the Realm Between, the Realm of Light, and the End of the World — to acquire the strength and magic needed to seal the Door to Darkness and prevent the Heartless from reaching other worlds.
The game includes a board featuring Never Land, Traverse Town, Atlantica, Agrabah, Wonderland, Olympus Coliseum, and other locations from the video game; 11 character game pieces, including Sora, King Mickey, Goofy, Donald Duck, and Aqua; more than 250 cards and objects, including spell, purchase, follower, and keyblade cards; Munny-themed currency; and custom, marbleized, six-sided dice.
