Tamagotchi has revived a line from its original series, and fans feel like it was a gift from angels.
The Tamagotchi Angel is back with a third-generation version. Until now, this highly anticipated item has not been reissued for 26 years. Bandai Namco announced the Tamagotchi’s revival at New York Comic Con (NYCC) last Thursday. The original Tamagotchi Angel came out in 1998, and fans have been obsessed with the sweet and soft toy their virtual pets call home ever since.

The Gen 3 Tamagotchis are the same as the other devices, and fans can still feed, clean up after, and heal their pets, but there are some fun new features as well. Tamagotchi caretakers can tap on their device, a feature never seen before, to scare away a bat. The bat is named BATTCHI, and while he is almost too cute to tap away, we cannot wait to test this new feature.Â
The two versions, the Original Tamagotchi Lovely Angel and the Original Tamagotchi Dreamy Angel, feature Tamagotchi pets that grow into different angel-themed pets. Both shells will have soft colors and angelic vibes.Â
