Teen Titans Go! is the longest-running animated series in DC history.
The 400th episode debuted to a New York Comic Con (NYCC) audience and will premier to the rest of the world later this year in November.
The Cartoon Network episode debut was followed by a panel consisting of the voice-cast members, including Tara Strong (Raven), Greg Cipes (Beast Boy), Khary Payton (Cyborg), Hynden Walch (Starfire), and Scott Menville (Robin); and Showrunner and Executive Producer Pete Michael. As you’d expect, the excited audience was full of Teen Titan Go! super-fans.
Audience members reacted with laughs, tears, and pure joy to the 400th episode, which was full of surprises the Teen Titan Go! fans did not see coming.
In an exclusive interview after the panel, Khary Payton and Pete Michael told The Pop Insider about the team behind the show and the series‘ importance to its loyal fans.
“These five characters are so different, and everybody can find someone to relate to, I think, and you can also find a friend to relate to. They all come from different places and come together. I think that speaks to a lot of people,” Payton says.
They talked about creating the show and how this team pulls it all together.
“The characters couldn’t be more fun to write to. There are lines on the page that don’t read funny, and these guys somehow pull some jokes out of it. It’s pretty incredible,” Michael says.
Cartoon Network will air every episode of the series during the month leading up to the premier of the 400th episode on Nov. 30. To follow the show schedule and learn more, visit cartoonnetworkhq.com.
