President Donald Trump’s 2020 re-election campaign used imagery of Thanos from Avengers: Endgame, and the creator of the all-powerful supervillain is not amused.
The verified “Trump War Room” account tweeted out a video with the president’s head doctored onto Thanos’s body during the scene in which Thanos yells, “I am inevitable.” In the tweet, this imagery is followed up by footage of a Nancy Pelosi press conference, edited to look like she and her colleagues, including House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, are being wiped away and disintegrated.
House Democrats can push their sham impeachment all they want.

Thanos’s creator, Jim Starlin, has spoken out against the use of his character by the Trump campaign. Starlin, who created the Avengers nemesis in 1972, says, “after my initial feeling of being violated, seeing that pompous fool using my creation to stroke his infantile ego, it finally struck me that the leader of my country and the free world actually enjoys comparing himself to a mass murderer. How sick is that? These are sad and strange times we are going through. Fortunately, all things, even national nightmares, eventually come to an end.”
The “Trump War Room” account is managed by Trump’s 2020 campaign. Whether or not they will take down the video remains to be seen.
