Your time to enter the arena is here. The Hunger Games is getting its own stage adaptation, which opens in London this fall.
The Hunger Games: On Stage is based on the iconic novel by Suzanne Collins and the movie adaptation by Lionsgate. The show is written by playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster.
The show will be put on in the Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre, a 1,200-set venue that was created with this production in mind. The Hunger Games: On Stage is in the round, meaning audience members are seated around the stage, with all of the action happening in the center. Other than the theatre itself, the venue also has three floors and an outdoor terrace. The theatre is at Canary Wharf, a shopping district with more than 300 shops and restaurants.
Presale tickets for The Hunger Games: On Stage will be available starting March 25, with the show opening Oct. 20. Until then, you should start trying to find plane tickets to get to London.
