Looking for your next Halloween costume? On Oct. 8, The Jetsons and Unique Vintage are teaming up to travel to the year 2062 with an exclusive clothing line that pays homage to the retro-meets-futuristic vibes of the animated series.
The Jetsons is a popular animated TV series that first aired in the 1960s, with a later resurgence in the 1980s. The Jetsons were a family of four — George, Jane, Judy, and Elroy — and the show also featured appearances from their robotic maid Rosie and beloved dog Astro. The family experienced all kinds of futuristic adventures in the sky, among floating houses and aerocars.
This new clothing collection includes a midi-length purple dress, which comes complete with a light purple collar and belt; a soft blue cardigan with planets, stars, and The Jetsons logo printed on it; an adorable light blue romper printed with a collage of the Jetsons’ iconic spaceship; and a red cropped shirt-and-skirt set, modeled after fashion from the show.
The collection will be available to purchase on uniquevintage.com, and will also be available at Unique Vintage’s Flagship Boutique in Burbank, California. Unique Vintage has also paid homage to other retro brands and characters, such as Scooby-Doo, Betty Boop, E.T., The Flintstones, and more.
