It’s time to stop and get in motion for the LEGO Group’s latest surprise. By partnering with Aardman Animation, the studio responsible for the Wallace & Gromit franchise, the LEGO Group will spark creativity in builders and storytellers with a new creative challenge.
Help the kids in your lives become the writer, animator, and director of their own stories with a kid-focused challenge that blends LEGO bricks and Aardman’s stop motion storytelling. This challenge launched with an animated short featuring an alien named Boop who finds themselves in a world made of LEGO bricks. Aardman also has five mini stop motion challenge shorts set to release monthly.

Can you finish this story? For this challenge, builders continue Boop’s story by using the LEGO Play app to make their own animations. With the app’s animation tool, users can make and share their projects for a chance to have their creations featured in an Aardman story. Consumers can also find inspiration by watching Director Magda Osinska’s video workshop on LEGO.com as well as video tutorials from fan creators and influencers.
