Today, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, and The LEGO Group revealed the launch of The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame, which features gameplay inspired by The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part.
In the game, players can explore the desolated wasteland of Apocalypseburg, a city left in ruins after an alien invasion. Players can follow Emmet, Lucy, and their crew of companions as they go beyond their world to save their friends from the odd inhabitants of the faraway Systar System.
“The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame brings the amazing locations and action from both the sequel and the original 2014 blockbuster The LEGO Movie, where kids can play as Emmet, Lucy, and other love-able characters,” Arthur Parsons, head of design at TT Games Studios, says. “Families and friends can journey together to complete quests and amass hidden relics to complete their collections in fantastical LEGO world environments/locations that come to life with a dizzying array of vehicles and creatures.”
The LEGO Movie 2 Videogame is available now for digital download on Nintendo Switch , PlayStation 4, the Xbox family of systems, and PC. The physical version of the game will be available for Nintendo Switch on March 4.
