The Op | USAopoly is going full Beatlemania with its new version of Monopoly. Monopoly: The Beatles takes players on a musical adventure through the discography of The Beatles like they’ve never experienced before.
Instead of streets, Monopoly: The Beatles players aim to snap up records like A Hard Days Night, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band, Abbey Road, and more; locations like Abbey Road Studios; and concerts using Beatles-themed Monopoly money. As players grow their collection, they can put listening parties (houses) and concerts (hotels) on them to raise the rent.
Players make their way around the board using Beatles-themed player tokens, including Here Comes the Sun, Maxwell’s Silver Hammer, Strawberry Fields Forever, I Am the Walrus, Rocky Raccoon, and Octopus’ Garden. As players move along the board, they can collect Fab Four (Chance) and Beatlemania (Community Chest) cards to mix up the game.
As with any game of Monopoly, things will get intense with this version of the game. If you don’t keep it civil with the other players, you may be facing a breakup worse than that of The Beatles.
MONOPOLY: THE BEATLES
This version of Monopoly will bring you right back to Beatlemania. The game features Beatles albums instead of properties, fun references to songs as tokens, Beatles-themed Monopoly money, and more.
