The Walking Dead Season 9 Teaser Trailer Debuts at Comic-Con

Is this the first The Walking Dead tease without walkers?

AMC released the first footage for The Walking Dead season 9 in a teaser trailer for the show, premiering in October.

We already have some details on the upcoming episodes, like a time jump and the departure of some of the show’s leading characters, including our original fearless sheriff Rick (Andrew Lincoln). The season will follow the events of the All Out War with Negan and the Saviors, and will show a dramatic shift as Rick tries to build a peaceful world just as his son Carl envisioned. We can already tell that things probably won’t go according to plan as all of the communities live together.

The full trailer will be released today at The Walking Dead Comic-Con International: San Diego panel, following the Fear The Walking Dead panel.
