Load up your phone with all the Topps Digital Apps you can because the digital collectibles company is hosting its own virtual event, from Feb. 25-28. WinterCon 2021 will be an entirely online event, filled with Twitch streams, celebrity guests, and in-app special events.
Topps plans to release hours of live and pre-recorded content for WinterCon, featuring interviews and exclusive content reveals across various Topps Digital apps, from Disney Collect! by Topps and Marvel Collect! by Topps to Topps NHL Skate and Topps MLB Bunt. All of the WinterCon programming will stream for free on the Topps Digital Twitch Channel.
One of the most exciting guests on the schedule is The Mandalorian actress Katee Sackoff, who will join WinterCon at 1 p.m. on Feb. 25 to talk all things Star Wars. Cosplayer Chris Stanley (Cosplay Chris) will be stopping by for Marvel, and Disney fans will want to tune in for a special segment with Jason Deamer, character art director at Pixar Animation Studios.
WWE Superstars Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair will also be at the virtual event, but don’t worry about a brawl breaking out — the two will be interviewed in separate segments! Other athletes on the roster include MLB players Paul Goldsmidt (St. Louis Cardinals), Walker Buehler (LA Dodgers), and Eloy Jimenez (Chicago White Sox), plus MLS All-Stars Chris Wondolowski and Dax McCarty.
