If the bloody handprint on the front of the box doesn’t give it away, perhaps the creepy doll head and table saw game pieces will: The Op’s latest Trivial Pursuit board game offering is all about horror.
Trivial Pursuit: Horror Ultimate Edition features 1,800 blood-curdling questions from multiple genres of horror. The six trivia categories — gore and disturbing, psychological, killer, monster, comedy, and paranormal — feature questions based on horror movies, TV shows, books, and more. Questions include things like, “What camp did Wednesday and Pugsley Addams attend against their will in Addams Family Values (1993)?” and “What company did Damien run as an adult in Omen III: The Final Conflict (1980)?”
Following standard Trivial Pursuit gameplay, horror-heads will move around the game board as they answer questions, competing to collect colored wedges that represent each of the six question categories.
The six sculpted game markers keep the horror theme going, too: Players can choose from a straightjacket, a zombie hand, a brain chopped by a meat cleaver, and more.
This hair-raising game is set to launch in local game stores this fall for $49.99, just in time for a Halloween game night!
